The selection guaranteed that every colour and nuance of the human face of all the world's ethnic types could be achieved.
I was intrigued and immediately began to investigate.

'Open Shore'
A triptych oil painting on antique linen.
Endlessly inspirational, it requires no filter or exaggeration – one cannot cheat one's way to it through the use of tricky compositional techniques.
These reflected manifestations were painted with versimilitude.
In a gale.
The wind was strong enough to flex the perspex windows of the handy little shed at Openshore creating a distortion which expressed the reflected force of the wind.
I was intrigued and made these paintings.
