Fleet - Old Girl

Fleet - Old Girl

Been meaning to paint this dignified old lady for a while..... went down Greatstone in stunning 1950's style evening light.

Painting is imbued with this 50's-ish feel I think .....Very limited palette - Cadmium red ground - van dyke size lay in (darks) - ochre - umber - dirty blue - pinkish hi lites - 4 hours in total
